My Take On Soulflower Pep Me Mint Soap-

I have Already reviewed the Jasmine, Sweet Rose, Charcoal, Chocolate soaps from Soulflower and this time I bought this minty soap! A cooling soap is what I need for relaxation of my mind :D This soap smells really minty exactly like the Blue Mentos candy! I simply love the peppermint smell and it has got dried and crushed peppermint leaves too. It comes in a normal plastic packet with a beautiful label stuck on it. The soap lathers really nicely and is greenish blue in color. This is a summer soap basically and cools down the body too...

When I tried the soap for the first time, I was like WOW! It lathers so very nicely and cleans the body perfectly- removing dirt, oil, stickiness and body odor too. You need to let the lather stay on the skin for like 5 minutes to feel the cooling effect! The cooling effect lasts until and unless you get out of the shower. The soap is really refreshing for the skin. The crushed peppermint leaves act as a mild scrub- but they are unevenly spread. But as soon as you get out of the shower, the fragrance, cooling effect and all vanishes. The soap dries out the skin slightly and so you need to follow up with a good moisturizer.

Summing up the Pros and Cons of Pep Me Mint Soap....

PROS-
1) Lathers nicely
2) The soap will last for 20-25 days easily, when used properly
3) Leaves no stickiness behind and does not melt like crazy
4) Color and minty fragrance
5) Freshens up the skin
6) Cleans really well
7) Helps in reducing body odour
8) Cools down the mind
9) The crushed pepper mint leaves serve as a very mild scrub
10) All Natural!

CONS-
1) The peppermint leaves are unevenly spread
2) Pricey soap
3) Slightly dries out the skin
4) As soon as you get out of the shower, the cooling effect and the smell fades away!

Overall Verdict- If you want to cool your body down or relax your mind a bit and relieve tension, then do go and buy this soap! The smell is just awesome and the cooling effect is superb too :D I highly recommend this soap to all of you! But do not expect any miracles from this soap...This is good for those with all skin types and will suit sensitive skin too because it has no artificial hardeners or harmful chemicals :D
