My Take On L’Oreal Paris 6 Oil-nourish Shampoo-
The L'Oreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Nourishing Shampoo Scalp + Hair comes in a lovely golden bottle with a dark golden-brown cap. The cap is of a flip open type and thus I recommend sticking a piece of sellotape on its cap before taking it with you on travels. The cap is not so tight and the loreal shampoo is of a medium consistency. The shampoo itself is also golden in color with lots of glittery particles. The shampoo smells quite strong and a bit floral. The fragrance reminds me of the Sunsilk Radiant Shine Shampoo. Some might not like the fragrance while some might like it.
The shampoo cleanses the hair nicely and in 2-3 washes removes all oil. It dries out the hair and leaves a mild fragrance behind. However, do not expect this shampoo to control frizz, split-ends, dandruff and all. This shampoo has really made my hair rough and I hate the fact that it contains so many chemicals. Also, it imparts no shine to the hair, does not soften up the hair and increases frizz. Overall, this is a must-skip kind of a hair cleanser. At this price, there are surely many other better shampoos to be tried :)
PROS-
1) Packaging is attractive
2) Affordable
3) Cleanses the hair nicely removing all dirt and oil from the hair and scalp
4) Lathers well
5) Smells floral and I like the fragrance
CONS-
1) Increases frizz
2) Does not make the hair soft or smooth
3) Does not impart shine to my hair
4) Does nothing for split ends, dandruff
5) Cap is not so tight
6) Does not nourish the hair or scalp
7) Dries out the hair and scalp
8) Contains a lot of chemicals including SLS and silicones
9) False claims
Final verdict- Although the L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Shampoo and Conditioner suited my hair, the L'Oreal Oil Nourish Shampoo did not help my hair at all. What the shampoo does is almost comparable to nothing. I would not recommend this shampoo to anyone and would never buy it again. This is not a sulphate free shampoo and only makes the hair dry, slightly rough and the company has made all the false claims. Overall, skip this shampoo, totally and get something better!
Rating-1.5/5
