Sunsilk Radiant Shine Conditioner Review

My Experience with Sunsilk Radiant Shine Conditioner-

It comes in a light golden tube with a golden, sparkly cap! The cap could have been sturdier. The cap gets open with a very slight pull itself. So, they need to make the cap a bit tighter. I know, sturdy caps are a pain to open and they damage the nails, but then I like my products and my travel-bag to be safe and secure :P

The light golden tube, the sparkly golden cap and a beautiful background :D

The conditioner is creamy, smooth and slightly thick in consistency. The creamy texture is what I loved the most in this conditioner.  Coming to the fragrance now, it smells exactly like the Radiant Shine Shampoo- floral and a bit different than most of the conditioners smell. The smell is slightly oily and chemical-like and may bother those with a sensitive nose.

Sunsilk Radiant Shine Conditioner Review

I used this conditioner after using the Radiant Shine Shampoo from this range. I applied it onto the hair ends, avoiding the scalp. However, even if you are super careful, somehow or the other the conditioner does get onto the scalp, though! I waited for 3 minutes and then rinsed my hair properly. What I noticed was that my hair felt soft, smooth and silky! I dried my hair and the comb glided down my tresses easily- no problem. But then, I felt that it failed to moisturize my hair properly. This conditioner contains a serious whole lot of chemicals like silicones, SLS and all! After a few hours, I tried to comb my hair and to my surprise, my hair was still soft and bouncy and the comb glided through pretty easily. Tiny tangles were there but they can be avoided...This conditioner makes the hair slightly shiny, bouncy and soft.

The Beautiful not so sturdy Cap...

Do not expect it to control frizz or dandruff. It may cause damage to the hair with regular usage because of the chemicals. Also, the effects are temporary and last merely for a day or so. Overall, you can try this conditioner at least once. Won't hurt the pocket but don't expect any radiant shine :P

Moving on to the pros and cons-

  1. Smooth, creamy texture of the conditioner
  2. Makes the hair soft and bouncy
  3. Neither increased nor decreased my hair fall
  4. Adds a subtle shine to the hair
  5. Affordable product
  6. Fragrance- I kind of like it :D
Sunsilk Radiant Shine Conditioner Swatch
  1. Do not expect a radiant shine, frizz and dandruff control and all from this one...
  2. Contains a whole lot of chemicals like SLS and silicones and does not do anything for split ends.
  3. Cap could have been sturdier
  4. Temporary effects
  5. Fragrance may bother those with sensitive noses
  6. May cause damage to the hair in the long run due to the chemicals it contains!
  7. Does not moisturize the hair properly

Finally, what Sunsilk says about the New Sunsilk Radiant Shine Conditioner!

Final verdict- I won't say that this is a totally bad product but this is not excellent either. If you like the name of this conditioner, then try it out :P But don't expect anything exceptional from this one. A pretty average product with a whole lot of chemicals in it. Do a patch test before using it because it may increase your hairfall and rough hair problems.

Rating- 3/5
