A lot of you have been requesting me to review this magical looking, life-changing nail polish pen. It looks really tempting and I'm sure you'd like to know if it actually works or not. I got this in one of my Fab bags and I was one of the very few people who could manage to grab this from their product selection page. Does this thing really work?

Price in India : Rs. 1000 for 5ml
Directions for use : First give it a wee shake, then the coloured end a push. You might need to pump it 7 or 8 times to get it going. Apply 3 thin coats for nails of awesomeness.
My Take On Laqa Nail Polish Pen :
It comes in a very attractive outer box and even the pen looks really nice. I like the fact that this is free from formaldehyde, toluene, and DHP. So, the nail polish pen comes in a pen-like packaging. You need to press down on the nail polish container and the nail polish drops from the brush in the form of a large blob.
Thus, the large blob dropped by this nail polish pen on my nails makes it even harder for me to apply it and also the brush gives a streaky finish. I find it impossible to apply thin coats on my nails as the nail polish is very thick. It takes a lot of time to dry and I cannot achieve precision with this. Maybe if you have very long nails, you will be able to work with this. But I have short nails and thus find it difficult to apply.
If you are a pro at nail art then you might find it easy to work with it. If you are a beginner or an amateur at that then you'll find it difficult. Also, at this price I can get many bottles of better nail polishes in the market.

3) Attractive berry-pink shade
4) Does not contain Formaldehyde, toluene, and DHP
CONS OF Laqa Nail Polish Pen :
1) Way too expensive
2) Applying thin coats is not possible with the brush
3) Not enough precision
4) Streaky finish
5) Very thick consistency
6) Not for beginners
7) Painting short nails with this is a pain
8) Not fast drying
Final verdict : If you really want to try this, then you might want to get it. If you're in love with this shade then you can get it. If you're a pro at nail painting then you might want to use this. However, if you have short nails like mine or if you are a beginner and expecting ease of working with it, then do not buy this one. It's not as easy to use this as it seems. I hope they come up with a cheaper and improved version of this.
