The tip of the pencil broke as I exerted a bit more pressure, but no worries as it's still good to use, obviously. Coming to the texture, the kajal won't give you jet black finish in one swipe. Honestly, you'll have to swipe it for like 3 times to get that perfect black finish. It's not extremely creamy on my eyes or maybe my kajal got hardened a bit due to the winter coldness or possibly the texture is to make it fadeproof. Anyhow, I warm the kajal by rubbing it in the palm of my hands and it actually helps to make the kajal creamy and softer. It does not get completely washed off with water. So, I happily use a makeup remover to remove it.
The retractable mechanism helps eliminate product wastage due to sharpening. Also, the color is nice and dark after a few swipes on the eyes and the best part is that it does not make your eyes all watery and all. It can be used as eyeliner also and I like to use this Kajal for a longer day. It does not fade for 8 hours and then starts slowly fading away. Save yourself from raccoon eyes now!

My Take On Sugar Twist And Shout Fadeproof Kajal :
It comes in a beautiful outer packaging and I just love the design. Very classy and elegant. Made in germany, the kajal stick is totally black in color with SUGAR written over it. I like the stick's packaging, sleek and I can easily carry it in my purse. And yes, the packaging does not look downmarket so, brownie points for that.
