Auravedic Pulpy Face Wash Saffron Almond

My Experience with Auravedic Pulpy Face Wash Saffron and Almond :

This facial cleanser comes in a lovely pinkish tube which is pretty and mentions all the information regarding the product precisely. It is creamy in consistency and white in color and smells heavily of saffron. The fragrance is very soothing and I love to sniff at this!

I started using the product almost a month back and I must say that this cleanser is pretty good. The results that I have achieved are satisfactory. I take a coin sized amount of this and apply on wet skin in circular motions. I massage it all over my face for about 3 minutes and then rinse it off. My face feels fresh and softer and it removes all dirt, oil and grime efficiently without over-drying my skin.

Of course, I need to use a good alove vera gel or mattifying moisturizer for my oily skin after using this cleanser. My face appears brighter. I am very happy with the face that this has not been tested on animals. Also, as this is free from all the harmful chemicals, I am assured of the fact that this wont harm my skin in the long run.

I found 4 mildly comedogenic ingredients in this face wash that are unlikely to aggravate or cause acne unless your skin is extremely sensitive and breaks out very easily. The mildly comedogenic ingredients in this face wash are : Triethanolamine, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil and Geranium Oil. Most of these are natural oils and they did not break me out at all. This face wash did not cause acne on my skin, neither did it prevent the occurrence of new pimples. This did not cause any allergic reaction on my skin. However, this is not a face wash for acne prevention.

Overall, this face wash just cleanses the skin nicely, makes it soft and supple. It does not contain parabens and SLS and thus does not lather at all. Yes, it does not lather. I prefer face washes that lather nicely as I personally feel that foaming cleansers make me feel fresher. Maybe Auravedic should make a good foaming cleanser free from harmful ingredients.

But, this face wash is not a fail. It does not claim to control breakouts. Thus, this lives upto its claims of washing away dead skin cells and it does make my skin glow. I would suggest you to try this face wash only if you do not have acne problem or acne prone skin.
