My Take On Soulflower Jasmine Soap-

Packed in a plastic wrapper, this beautiful soap is white in color with brown jasmine particles spread unevenly throughout the soap. The information and all had been printed on a good quality paper and has been stuck perfectly on the plastic wrapper. It sure is pricey but also natural and 100% vegan (so it is worth it, right?). As soon as I opened the packet, a very natural fragrance of jasmine hit my nose! I am not fond of jasmine fragrances but this one smells really good and I liked the natural fragrance. It is so fresh! :D

I used it on my face, that night. It dried out my skin slightly, but as I have oily skin, it did not create much problem. So, dry skinned beauties need to get their moisturizers ready if they are planning to use it. It makes the face brighter and cleans it really well. It lathers perfectly and removes dirt really nicely and the fragrance it just it. I have used it on my body too and it works perfectly there too- cleanse nicely and gives you a luxury bathing experience. But unfortunately, the fragrance does not linger on even for 5 minutes, which is a con. But this soap is good for those with oily, sensitive and acne prone skin. It does not heal scars, acne, etc, though. Its claims of improving elasticity, treating coughs and headaches, etc. It does not leave any sticky, slippery feel behind and one soap, if cut and used properly, will last you for like 25+ days!

Summing up the Yays and Nays of the Jasmine soap...

PROS-

1) Fresh fragrance
2) 100% vegan and natural
3) Cleans the body and face nicely
4) Removed oil and dirt from the skin
5) Looks great too :P
6) Makes the face brighter
7) Does not melt too fast
8) Can be used on the face- did not break me out
9) Perfect for oily, sensitive skinned girls

CONS-

1) Does not heal scars, pimples, reduce coughs, headaches, etc. etc.
2) Fragrance does not linger on
3) Pricey
4) Slightly dries out the skin

Overall verdict- If you love Jasmine flowers and would not mind if the fragrance does not linger onto the skin, then get it asap. Sensitive skinned beauties can get it too without worries. Dry skin needs a moisturizer after using this. Do not expect miracles from it. It is just a good soap, far away from being excellent.

Rating- 3.75/5

Have you tried the Soulflower Handmade Soaps? :)
